How these services fit together

Most people call about one of these and end up needing two. They are stages of the same job, and the order matters more than any single step.

1. Anything sunken gets reset first. Sealing a surface that is still moving locks in the problem. If a section has dropped or an edge has crept, we pull those pavers, fix the base underneath and put them back before anything else happens.
2. Old sealer comes off before new sealer goes on. A surface that was sealed years ago and has gone cloudy or patchy needs a stripper, not another coat. Sealing over a failed coat is the single most common way a driveway ends up looking worse after it was treated.
3. Then the wash. Hard surfaces take full pressure. Walls, screens and anything painted take a soft wash instead, at low pressure with a cleaner doing the work. Using the first on the second is how people damage their own houses.
4. Then re-sanding. Joint sand washes out over the years, and joints without it are where weeds start and where pavers begin to shift. This is the step most often skipped by whoever quoted cheaper.
5. Then the seal. We use a water-based sealer, which protects against mould, weeds and fading rather than only adding shine. Wet-look or natural finish is your choice, and it is worth seeing both before you decide.

A new installation runs the same way in reverse: the base is built properly, the pavers go down, and the surface is sealed from day one so it never has to be recovered later. One crew does all of it, so there is nobody to coordinate and nobody to blame when a stage gets missed.
